THE ARCHIVE
A limited selection of works made available for public viewing.
While the majority of our commissions are protected by confidentiality, we open the Archive to serve as a representative study of the atelier's approach to proportion, materiality, and light.
SCROLL TO EXPLORE
THE ARCHIVE
THE BRONZE
LATTICE
THE DISSOLUTION OF THE WALL
The brief was to remove a solid partition and open the plan without losing structure or privacy. We designed a continuous bronze lattice running the length of the residence, filtering light, framing views, and subtly defining each zone. The home feels open and breathable, yet composed and precise.
CURATORIAL TENSION
The design is built on contrast. The crisp geometry of the bronze lattice is softened by the character of the collection, allowing modern craftsmanship and historic pieces to sit comfortably together. Dark Macassar, high-gloss finishes, and malachite anchor the space with weight and depth, so the lighter elements read intentional rather than decorative.
CALACATTA
& PETAL
THE STONE PROMENADE
A continuous stone composition unifies the home. Calacatta Borghini is inlaid with sweeping ribbons of Bardiglio Nuvolato, creating a measured rhythm that draws you through the volume. Corridors and salons read as one connected sequence, with the floor treated as a single architectural gesture.
BOTANICAL SUSPENSION
To counterbalance the weight of the stone, we introduced a suspended canopy of light. Bespoke porcelain installations, formed as cascading white petals, float above the structural grid and soften the monumentality of the space. The atmosphere is defined by this contrast: grounded permanence below, and quiet delicacy overhead.
TRAVERTINE
& SHADOWS
SCULPTING WITH LIGHT
The entry is designed as a filter for daylight. A monolithic stone water basin anchors the foyer beneath a perforated skylight, allowing the sun to cast shifting shadows across the silver travertine floor. The space changes quietly through the day, turning arrival into an experience rather than a moment.
ARCHITECTURAL TOPOGRAPHY
Level changes are used to shape how the home is inhabited. In the main salon, a sunken conversation area lowers the seating line to meet the horizon, aligning the interior with the infinity pool beyond. The result is uninterrupted continuity between stone, water, and ocean, with nothing competing for the view.
MACASSAR
& SILK
THE EBONY HORIZON
This residence is shaped by high-gloss discipline. Continuous Macassar ebony is book-matched to form a measured horizontal rhythm that wraps the volume and extends the perceived proportions of the room. The timber isn’t applied as decoration, it becomes an architectural envelope, set against polished marble floors and cladding for depth and contrast.
ACOUSTIC TEXTURE
To counterbalance the hardness of wood and stone, we introduced upholstered silk wall cladding. The effect is both tactile and practical, softening acoustics and bringing warmth to the high-gloss palette. Precise junctions, clean transitions, and integrated lighting allow each material to read with clarity, without excess.
GEOMETRY
& JADE
THE JEWELLED FOUNDATION
The home is grounded by an extraordinary material gesture. Green jade is inlaid into the floor to form a semi-precious landscape underfoot, bringing colour, depth, and permanence to the architecture. Above, a coffered ceiling introduces structure and rhythm, connecting the main reception spaces with the more intimate private rooms.
SCULPTURAL ILLUMINATION
Lighting is treated as sculpture. A hand-forged chandelier floats at the centre of the volume, defining the room’s focus without overpowering it. Furniture is selected and commissioned with the same intent — velvet forms and brass detailing curated as pieces with presence, not ornament.
THE BRONZE
HORIZON
THE MIRRORED CANOPY
The salon is designed to blur the line between interior and sea. A smoked bronze mirrored ceiling doubles the perceived height of the space and captures the moving horizon, drawing light and water deep into the room. The result is a calm, expansive volume where the ocean becomes part of the architecture.
NAUTICAL GEOMETRY
Structural columns are wrapped in bronze, turning necessary supports into sculptural elements that catch and reflect light. The palette remains intentionally restrained — textured linens, warm timber, and veined stone — so nothing competes with the panoramic blue beyond.
LACQUER
& LINEN
THE MIRROR-POLISHED SHELL
Within the intimate volume of a sailing yacht, the interior must follow the hull with precision. We designed a continuous envelope of white lacquered panelling that traces the vessel’s structure, bringing rhythm and clarity to the ceiling plane. Against the raked glazing, the coastline becomes a moving frame, turning the view into a quiet cinematic backdrop.
CONTROLLED COMFORT
To soften the brightness of the sea, the palette is layered with tactile, sound-absorbing materials. Organic grey linens and woven wools create a calm, neutral field that recedes visually and settles the space acoustically. In that restraint, the owner’s art collection — and the vivid blue beyond — becomes the true colour.
